Amy’s the kind of person that everyone warms to because of her natural enthusiasm and energy, which are totally infectious. She’s loyal, caring and emotionally intelligent and will pretty much always put other’s needs before her own.
But she’s no softy in a work environment; alongside that lovely demeanour is a driven, determined and focused mindset. So she’ll always be able to assess priorities, focusing on what’s important right now, and what can be planned for later (although I can assure you, she’ll never put anything off). She’s structured, organised, professional – communicating clearly and logically, especially when it comes to goals and what it’ll take to reach them.
She’s equally at home with senior staff members and those on the frontline; one of her great skills is the ability to connect and influence at all levels within an organisation. Her ability (and her confidence) comes from having been involved in lots of successful, major projects within both the public and private sectors. That kind of experience is hard to come by, and she’ll willingly share it with people she’s training, telling engaging stories to help make the learning relevant.
Amy’s really creative; I’ve never seen her stumped for an idea. Plus she can makes something really complex sound really quite straight-forward, once she’s broken it down. The way she communicates is really powerful, making sure people are on board and focused on the task in hand. These skills are really effective, and really valuable.
She’s a real driving force, is Amy – I’m so glad she’s the one by my side!
